Diagnosis P.T.S.D.

So many of us live our lives in the shadows, desperately trying to push traumas out of our minds. Diagnosis PTSD is a film that highlights traumas that we need to talk about. We should no longer ignore how PTSD affects people within our community. This film is made to be the voice of those who are ignored or overlooked in the hopes of shedding light on an issue that needs the proper attention and services to help those in need. A medal or badge of honor is a magnificent achievement for someone to accomplish but how are we servicing the mental scars that take up space in the minds of the average person or our heroic soldiers. Covid locked people down and a whole new group of people became traumatized, some re-traumatized, some newly traumatized. Whichever the case, people are out here, damaged from military service, and from life events. Each character is desperately trying to escape the horrors of their past. Trying to figure it out as best they can. Unable to seek and find help at times, and unable to help each other, often weighing heavily on the shoulders of ‘unaffected ‘ friends and family. Sadly, the outcomes can often be fatal.

In the depths of the Amazon rainforest, a powerful anaconda named Kaa reigns as the guardian of the jungle. His emerald scales glisten under the sunlight, and his golden eyes hold the wisdom of ages past. When a group of poachers threatens the harmony of the forest, Kaa springs into action to protect his home and its inhabitants. With a display of strength and wisdom, he teaches the poachers the importance of respecting nature and the interconnectedness of all living beings. Through his actions, Kaa becomes a legendary figure, revered by all who call the Amazon their home, and his legacy serves as a reminder of the power of unity and compassion in the face of adversity. As the days pass, Kaa’s legend spreads far beyond the boundaries of the Amazon. Tales of his bravery and wisdom travel across continents, inspiring people to reconsider their relationship with the natural world. Conservationists invoke his name in their efforts to protect endangered species, and children listen wide-eyed to stories of the mighty anaconda who stood against injustice. Kaa’s presence lingers in the hearts of all who hear his tale, a timeless reminder that every creature, no matter how small, plays a vital role in the delicate tapestry of life. And as the sun sets over the rainforest, casting a golden glow upon the lush landscape, Kaa watches over his domain with quiet pride, knowing that his legacy will endure for generations to come.
