After being diagnosed with liver cancer, Terry filled the void in his life by turning to his former passion of screenwriting. Since then, Terry has written over six award-winning feature screenplays. Terry’s screenplay, Broken Worlds (formerly titled Sandstorm), won the New York Screenwriting Awards for Best Feature Screenplay USA and was a Finalist at the Los Angeles Screenplay Awards. It has also improved its ranking to the Top 1% on Coverfly’s The Red List. The screenplay has been optioned by Pollack Films. Terry is currently writing a screenplay on his struggles with cancer.
