The documentary GRIÔS addresses the issue of black ancestry in a union between ancThe documentary GRIÔS, entirely captured online, is composed of lives, interviews, and archival footage. The recordings were made using mobile phones, notebooks, video cameras, and screen capture software. Held during the Festival of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy, an initiative that aims to highlight the creation, production, and dissemination of cultural activities, the documentary explores the significance of our intangible, material, and independent heritage. Throughout the festival, guests will discuss the importance of recognizing ancestral legacies for future generations, sharing stories of struggles and achievements, with each participant narrating their own experiences and, in doing so, becoming Griôs themselves.
