Thomas is damaged. He is mentally ill and deeply troubled by feelings of guilt. Deep-rooted anger simmers in his psyche as he faces an appallingly violent crime. His mentor is Dr Jonathan Abrams, a psychotherapist who probes Thomas’s mind and pulls out his madness. As Thomas crumbles under the strain, Abrams pushes him to the very limits of insanity. Whether he likes it or not, Thomas is drawn into dark, shadowy corners of the human condition and must make difficult choices concerning the truth about himself and his fractured reality.
Director: Max Galante
Ever since a young age, Max has acted in multiple theatrical productions such as “Shrek,” “Peter Pan,” “Is He Dead?” etc. Throughout his experiences, he realized that there was something he wanted to do more than acting, and that was to write and direct films. “Ossesione” is the first film he has had the opportunity to write and direct, but has worked on multiple student films such as “Reverie” by Austin Kieth, and “My Dinner with Spiderman” by Mario Jaar. Film is his passion, and this is his passion project.
