This short film is a passion project of mine because it intertwines familiar slapstick routines with a sleek tradigital 2D look influenced by the likes of recent cartoony animated works such as Warner Bros. Animation’s ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ and ‘Looney Tunes Cartoons’ and Sergio Pablos’ acclaimed 2019 Christmas film ‘Klaus’, all of which are proof that the digital age is no hindrance (or foe) to producing some of the best recent 2D animation out there in years using tools that are easily available at home.
